We are thrilled to announce that Allie Pepper, our esteemed ambassador for menopause at Besins Healthcare, has achieved yet another incredible feat in her mountaineering journey. After an epic 21 hours of extreme mountaineering, alongside Mikel and Nima, Allie successfully reached the summit of Annapurna I, standing proudly at 8,091 meters, one of the world's most challenging mountains.
What makes Allie's achievement even more remarkable is that she undertook this ascent without supplemental oxygen, placing her in an elite group of women who have accomplished this daunting task. The climb commenced from camp 4 at 8:08 PM, with the team reaching the summit around 12:03 AM. The return journey concluded at camp 4 by 5:34 PM (Nepal).
This achievement marks Allie's third successful summit, showcasing her unwavering determination and resilience in the face of adversity. As she celebrates this milestone, Allie is already setting her sights on her next challenges, with plans to conquer the formidable peaks of Kanchenjunga and Makalu.
We commend Allie and her team for their extraordinary accomplishment and wish them a safe descent and well-deserved rest. Stay tuned for more updates on Allie's remarkable journey as she continues to inspire us with her passion for mountaineering and dedication to pushing boundaries.
